Networks

A network is a link between 2 or more computers which allows them to share files.

Four benefits to using a network is the ease of sharing files, communication, distributing information, and the ability to access multiple documents from the server.

A WAN is a wide area network much like roanoke countys, while a LAN would be local area network much like one would use in their own household.

Novell Netware, Artisofts LANtastic, Microsoft Windows Server, and Windows NT are examples of network operation system software.
Peer to Peer is between two people sharing documents while server/client is where there is someone in control of the server as an administrator and a client is able to use that server.
