Ka Lit Lam was convicted of trafficking counterfeit items from her home in San Jose in transit to her home in Folsom. The items including purses, shoes, earrings, chains and charms. Along with the items a stamper was found, which is used to put the signature on the items. The marks were those from Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Coach, D&G, Christian Dior, Juicy, Tiffany, and even Disney and Hello Kitty. Her sentence ended with 4 months in jail and 36 months of supervised release. The retail value of the counterfeit items were ranged at 58,335 dollars but with her selling them as being real she would have made a total of 1,209,400 dollars. When Ka Lit Lam was first in business he would buy real merchandise from China but switched to counterfeit items when his customers began demanding them.

  1. That's a really cool story, Brooke. He made a LOT of money doing that. I can't believe she like ripped of Disney. That's like...who does that? Even though this guy was like a horrible person for ripping all these people off, he still has a really kool name. KA LIT LAM? That's awesome!
